Scope of Work
A hedge fund that had recently acquired a portfolio of car washes across the Northeast was in the market for a rebrand. They were in need of a Brand Book incorporating the existing brand assets (logo, color palette, typography) into a refined and defined visual identity, along with a guidebook for messaging and elements of the visual identity that were not defined prior to the campaign engagement.
There was an existing website that did not include the functionality that the client was looking for as they began the process of expanding their portfolio of locations farther across the Northeast.
Identifying the Problem
The client was in the process of expanding their portfolio of car wash locations and wanted to integrate search functionality in a more user-friendly manner.
The client’s existing profitability was primarily garnered through in-person membership purchases, however, they wanted to invest in efforts to increase their online membership purchases.
Overall, the client wanted to modernize the overall visual identity of the brand in order to attract higher paying clientele and establish a more consistent brand appeal across all locations and assets.
Designing Solutions
Refining and defining the visual and verbal identity of the brand and packaging it into a Brand Book that could be used as an onboarding tool and resource, as well as a way to increase consistency across all brand materials going forward.
Designing and building a completely new website that incorporated the existing POS system the client had been using but also integrating the new functionality they were in need of to achieve the desired improved UX.
Building a library of graphic and image assets to incorporate into all future branding and marketing collateral for the client/brand.
The Outcome

Brand Book

After refining the brand’s existing visual assets, we established the visual and verbal identity of the brand and incorporated additional ancillary visual assets to develop a Brand Book for the client.

Website Re-Design + Build

Built a completely new website using the foundations of the existing brand website but adjusting to meet the functionality requirements of the campaign i.e. Location search and filtration system, membership and pricing tables, etc.
Displayed the membership/subscription options in a visually encouraging way because the client wanted to encourage monthly memberships
Integrated location search + filtration tech that allows users to find the nearest location, get directions to that location, and compare pricing between each location. that is also displayed in a visual manner that is aligned with the brand’s visual identity
Elevated the brand's luxury appeal through a refined visual identity and custom graphics animation that helped better illustrate the benefits and value of using the brand’s high-quality services.
